Take a drive on the Million Dollar Highway- This is an unforgettable adventure from Cascade Village to the town of Ouray- (42 miles one-way)

Take a trip back in history by riding the Durango Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad- we suggest riding the train only one way and catching the bus back- otherwise too long of a day- durangotrain.com

Prospect for gold- Take a tour of the Old Hundred Mine Gold Mine Tour in Silverton 

Go horseback riding through the San Juan Mountains-Rapp Corral 

Visit Mesa Verde National Park- worth the drive!

Go on a shopping spree- Downtown Durango has some great shops

Handlebars- Silverton- West 13th Street- Featuring elk and buffalo burgers. Save room for dessert!

Chimayos- 862 Main Street Durango- Definitely try one of the jalapeno margaritas!

Durango Diner- 957 Main Street Durango- Best breakfast in Colorado. Green chile is totally awesome!

Bon Ton- St Elmo Hotel 426 Main Street in Ouray- Beef Wellington is our favorite!

Rocky Mountain Funnel Cakes- 1249 Greene Street- This is a family favorite on a rainy Silverton day!
